What's your favourite beer/lager/ale?

Harp Lager, most people in Northern Ireland and the Republic drink it. Then assumption that people over here drink Guinness is a myth.

Cheers,
Paul

I hate both Paul, I only ever drink various forms of Whiskey. I think the biggest assumption about people over here is that we are all alcoholics!!:nuts::nuts:

OK, here's my list (not that I like the odd drink or anything).

Lager: Eiken Artois
Peroni
Heineken
Becks
Kronenbourg 1664
Jupiler (sadly not available in the UK)
Warsteiner
Budvar
Almost anything else that's Belgian/German/Czech and decent quality.

Beer: Leffe Brune
Leffe Radueise
Leffe Tripel
Leffe 9
Chimay
Duvel
Guiness if I'm in the mood
Bombadier on the rare occasions I want bitter

Spirits
Good vodka
Jim Beam
Jack Daniels
Bells

That's fairly exhaustive I think

Would be if you drank all that in one night !

Im a yorkie but could live on Guinness:thumbs:

Ice cold Efes lager in summer, Efes Dark in winter.

I have very good memories of Efes from the Champions League Final in Istanbul, they must of had very good sales for May 2005.

Lovely drink.

i love efes, its my joint favorate lager... i wish it was on tap here for when i visit pubs without real ale on id rather have a pint of efes or Viru (estonian lager)

Whatever i drank a pint of when in a random pub in the middle of nowhere last time i was in cornwall. Was some sort of ale, and it was really nice.

Nicer than most i;ve drank before, bit i don't know what it's called.

Generally I like 1664 or Stella, however when I "buy" beer for home it's usually "Fischer", a French Weiss beer brewed in the Alsace region, or St Fullion, a Belgian beer - I prefer the blonde and the tripel (the latter is 8.5%).

Not much of a spirit drinker, but I have been known to drink the odd glass of wine

Quite partial to Dent Bitter but often have to resort to Guinness if on a beer night. Used to love Caffreys but haven't seen it for ages. I will normally choose a smooth over anything else.

Don't do lager, too much gas!
