I have shot a couple of MX Motocross events (2 and thats my full knowledge on the subject) but have been asked to do an XC Motocross... had a google and it looks the same... Whats the difference and what sort of shots should I be looking for? Or same shots as MX?

if its up ashworth valley way its gona be cold!
its pretty much a hare n hounds enduro thing, follow my leader type thing, lots of thrills and spills
 
Cheers chaps.. sounds interesting and all this rain and thawing should make it good.. its also classed as a fun event... Local paper asked me to cover it..

Ride-XC will be kick starting the new year with a fun event at New Barn Farm Burnley starting at 12 noon Sunday 2nd January 2011. Open to Adult solo's and quads it should be ideal for burning off that christmas pudding before the championship kicks off in February

XC - Cross country - basically as mentioned above it is basically a enduro but there is more fancy names to attract more people

not been to one in a while but finds the boggiest and ruttiest place and plenty of water and thats where you will get the best action i use to ride them and they were the funniest places to be especialy people helping them getting covered in water
 
XC is a relatively new term over here , its cross country , often quite fast and not too technical (obviously depends on venue)

Well I did the event.. a 2 hr race of all ages groups.. using bikes and quads

hmm I ahve only done a coule of motocross before and was used to speed and jumps.. this on sunday was boring in comparison.. the race soon split up so 90% of pics where single riders... also so muddy i couldnt get the numbers on most bikes so useless to me as i require names with pics..

I did 2 hrs.. it was a fair old trek up boggy hill for an old unfit git like me as well :)

should be published this thursday so wills ee what coverage usage they give.. oh hum.. hope they send me to MX next time :)
