Ive just found out from pure guess work that the missus is hiding a 7D under the tree. Oh boy how long are the next 3 days gonna be!!!:lol::lol:

Does 'pure guess work' involve upwrapping a little tiny bit then rewrapping?

no it involves asking 5 million questions :)

Blimey, that's a nice present.

I've got a laptop.

good effort, wish my santa was like that

Niiice!

My parents said they had got me 8 presents for xmas (don't worry - most are little things!)

I worked out that one is jelly beans or smarties in a massive tube, one is a pair of headphones i asked for (as weigh so little), one is a DVD and another is a T-shirt.

Then i counted 7 presents under the tree... hopefully Santa is bringing me the 430 EX ii I really want :D

Nice one  Take a self portrait shot with you grinning like a Cheshire cat, put it back in the box and when you open it show her the pic :D

that is an amazing idea :)

Nice, beats what I've got, which amounts to sod all!

We decided to spend all the money on the kids this year, although a sneaky peak tells me that I have actually got one thing, which is either a walking stick or a Redsnapper monopod :D

nice one!

i'll have one under my tree as well, i did buy it though :D

Nothing photographic this year aside from a couple of books that I believe I'm getting.

It's not all bad though, as the reason I'm not getting anything is that my wife always tells me to buy something when I want it :D

I went out and bought a lighting kit the other month and gave the credit card a hammering. My 'rents kindly offered to pay some towards it as there isn't anything i particularly want, a nice gesture of course, yet still makes only a small dent in the bill.

Yet the entire lot had disappeared overnight and several lencarta shaped gift wrapped packages appeared under the tree. So much for using last weekend for another play.

I've got the Hotshoe Diaries under ours so boxing day I will be happily chortling away :)

Hope everyone gets lots of love at Christmas :)

I've got a luvverly Redsnapper ball head awaiting me on Xmas morning but I'm not allowed to play with it till then.. my lovely OH is also looking around for a nice waterproof, warm camo jacket for me. She says she hasn't found one yet but no sure if it's just to surprise me or not.

Tommy.

"Whats under the Christmas Tree.... "

Some pine needles and a whole lot of dust! :)

The books from Amazon went out of stock at the last minute, so they will arrive after Christmas. That wide angle zoom, a macro, a Sigma zoom, a ball-head, and the flash will remain on the wish list for some time to come. Buying land and building houses in France is a wallet draining affair.... maybe next year.

hesitation to buy a new camera...and a half drunk mug of milky coffee

A nice pair of binoculars which I've been thinking about for ages. I suppose you'd call them 'mid range' price wise, but the clarity, brightness, and low light ability is stunning compared to the old pair I've been used to.

I've just had 'em snatched off me and wrapped, so they they actually are under the tree. :(

Nothing photography related for me as far as I'm aware :( although I wouldn't be averse to a 1d Mark 4 and Canon 600 f4 IS being underneath the tree :naughty::lol:

My birthday is just after Xmas and work have said they'll get me a Warehouse Express gift voucher, so I can use it towards an X-Rite Color Checker Passport

i know there will be a sigma 105mm somewhere there :D ...only becuase i myself bought it for the wife knowing that i am the one who is going to use it most of the time :D ..Nice haa

Cat pee.................. Why you little...............

The Mrs got me my Nikon 24-70mm 2.8 for xmas, but I was a lucky boy and got to have it before the day! :)

Well I waved dod's 17-40/4 under the tree when it arrived and told myself it was a Chritmas present from me to me. Couldn't fit the 300/2.8 under the tree at all but told myself it is next year's christmas present from me to me. And I'm hoping against hope that my California Sunbounce finally arrives. Not that there is any sun to bounce. My son doesn't know it but there is a 10D waiting for him as well.
