whats the largest size you've had your photo blown up?

I have gone to 10 x 18 from my D40, tempted to push it further and see how far I can go lol

Never blown anything up beyond A3 so far.
How do you know how large you can actually blow up an image before you start losing quality?

In the late 50's I shot monthly background pics for Gallerias Preciados windows in Madrid, we printed them by hand to 3 meters square.

i guess about 12 foot by 6 foot?

What did the printer use to get to that size?
