honestly I'd not bother getting a printer that cheap to do photos. the quality is not great arrnd you'll spend a fortune on ink.
choose Canon PIXMA iP7250 or epson P50
just looked and the Canon PIXMA iP7250 is £55 new at amazon is this about right?
I think POAH thats not quite correct I have an Epson all in one SX115 and use JET TEC compat inks and usually Lexmark Glossy photo paper and the quality is excellent, its slow I will grant you at best photo with all the options turned on its 15mins a print and the printer cost £50.
to ADD a full set of JET TEC inks cost me about £14 delivered and they are double capacity as well so I probably get a good 30 full A4 prints for the cost of a set. The paper is about £12 for 50 sheets.
Also just to add don't buy the realy cheap ebay inks they are garbage I switched to the JET TEC on a recommendation from a friend who also prints a lot and the quality is excellent.
don't leave them anywhere near sunlight - The resolution of these printers are not of an acceptable quality to me hence my reply.
Yeh, just bought one from ebuyer for just under 60 quid delivered, must say so far i'm impressed!
Compatable ink come about tenner a set.
Hi
Any updates on the printer. Thanks
i think the question has to be ( if the decision is strictly down to cost ) is how many A4 prints can you have printed for 60 quid and how many are you likely to print if you decided to go buy a printer for 60 quid ?
this is the question i have asked myself many times over the the last few years
over 10 years ago i treated myself to a canon s9000 a3+ printer at the time i would say printing at a3 was worth doing at home but not today
i still have the printer and it still prints the same as the day it was bought but the cost of inks ( i use genuine only ) has basically retired it
for the price of inks and decent paper i'm better of sending the images off and save me a few quid
