What's on your tab/pad? Games/apps?

If you have an iOS device, you really need to look at real racing 3, as said its free!!

I'm currently playing through Monkey Island 2 Special Edition - one of the very few genres that are perfectly suited to touch screen devices.

I hope the games don't die a permanent death after the recent Lucasarts shenanigans. :(

I'm afraid it doesn't look promising - neither of the iOS monkey island games have had an update for a couple of years. Presumably the apps aren't optimised for the newer retina iPads (we only have an ipad2)?

I hope Disney sell or licence the IP. I loved those SCUMM games.

Yea iPad2 user here too Cuthbert so not sure about retina optimisation?

Cracking games, just nowhere near enough point and click adventures available on any platform!

I wish someone would recreate some of the old classical text/graphic adventures for touch devices such as The Hobbit, Red Moon, The Pawn, Jinxter and the Scott Adams releases from Adventure International. I'd love to play those again with updated graphics and maybe a more complex parser?

Candy Crush Saga on Android is turning me in to a completely inactive time wasted blob mess...

103 !

Our lass will have left me, the house repossessed and I'll have the IQ of an omeba by the time I reach 103...

Which level? I might be able to help!

Sorry, only seeing this now. Level 4  I'm just no good at it. I kill most of the enemy, but seem to lose all my techs so can't take the barracks. Left with a sole gunner every time :/ I'll try again. I gave up too easy I think.

On Candy crush I'm stuck on level 29!!

I used to be good at games ....

105 now, although you end up relying on big wedges of luck!

Well I just busted 35 and have to pay 69p or do some faceache garbage, neither of which are happening, so that's that time waster on the rocks...:(

Those of you into your football apps and games should check out 'Top eleven' It's a footy manager game, where you take part in virtual leagues against other players - You only need give it 5-10 mins per day once you get going. You can find it on Facebook and send it to your phone/pad - you can obviously play using all of them after that.

New one for me is The Simpsons Tapped Out.. far too damn addictive..

if anyone wants to add me im - neilgates

Will do. Been playing it a few weeks now. Cagey75.

+1 for Candy Crush Saga - level 98 now and not paid a thing to get there.

You do, however, need a plane/train/boat ticket at certain points to get to other levels - these can be paid for or by asking 3 facebook friends.

Arguing the Toss  I think it is one of Scrivens creations :D

now on 135 and slowing down immensely...getting tricky now

Not much of one for games but I did have a Backgammon app on this machine. Unfortunately, the dice rolls were as random as the Fibonacci sequence so I've deleted it. It seems to have vanished from the Win8 app store so I'm probably not the only one who found the randomness not to be so!

The main non game app we use is CatchupTV - as yet, we have no signal feed to the telly in the conservatory but using this app and an HDMI cable, we can get about 50 channels over the wifi.

I've started Candy Crush too. :geek: (unpaid)

I'm going a bit OCD on it by getting 3 stars on each level before I move on to the next.

Currently at 102. :|
