Whats on this weekend?

Hi all im still settling into photography still, im in my first year and i havent found one subject to master im still looking at all aspects and i was wandering if there are any great websites with various events and a calender. As each working week comes to an end i look forward to the weekend getting out and about with my camera.

As you are in Birmingham and it's local to you then it could be worth popping along to Focus On Imaging at the NEC on Sunday. It may not give you anything to shoot but you can play with kit til your heart's content and maybe get to meet a few TP'ers that will be there. There are a few threads about it already.

What' On this weekend could bring a huge list of various events.

It would really need to be a little more specific. I've been looking for different things to shoot also, but more in the sporting category and going to more or less the website of any sport will give you a calendar of event.

Looking at Birmingham this weekend for me would be the Inter counties Cross Country Championships on Saturday and Sunday in Coventry the Inter counties race walking championships, and of course Focus on Imaging at the NEC.

Also worth checking your local paper for those funny little local festivals Britain has all over the place. Can't remember which TP member it was, but someone did all the world championships of very odd events last year, things like mud swimming or gravy wrestling.
