What's in your camera bag?

Bag: Tamrac Adventure (6 I think?). Soon being upgraded to a Tamrac Ulatra Pro 17 to accomodate 2 bodies and my laptop. Will be keeping the Adventure though, it's a usefull small bag for when I'm climbing that doesn't interfere with harness etc.

Bodies: Gripped D40 and a D90 (soon to be gripped)

Lenses: All Nikon: 18-55mm, 55-200mm, and 18-105mm VR. 18-55 Usually gets left at home. Only reason I still have it is it's not worth all that much. I hope to be adding a fast prime at some point.

What else I carry depends on what I'm doing. If I'm out and about then I'll carry cleaning bits, Cokin P-series system, spare batts and cards etc. If I'm rolling my 'mobile studio' (:D) then I have a tool box with my cables, meter, triggers and reflectors etc in.

I some how have...

Gripped 40D
70-200L IS f/2.8
17-85 IS
50mm f/1.8
Canon x2 extender

All with hoods in a Lowepro Slingshot 100 bag. Very tight fit.

Also...
Spare memory
2 spare batteries
Lens pen
Couple of filters
etc etc

Just ordered a Flipside 400 bag, which should give a little more space.

Lowepro Flipside 400 AW:

Sony A500 w/16-105
Sony A200 w/18-55
Minolta 500 AF Reflex mirror (or sometimes Tamron 200-400)
Tamron 90mm Macro
Tamron 28-200 XR
Sony 42AM Flash

Odds n' ends, batteries, card reader, lens cloth, sd/cf cards, usb cable, charger etc.

You can probably tell I'm new to photography with this extensive list...

My bag currently contains

Canon 30D
18-55mm IS 3.5-5.6
A few CF cards
Spare battery

Mindblowing ;)

However I did just splurge £450 on a whim, picked up a 50mm 1.8 for the general shoots, gigs and such that I want to try out, and a 70-200 f4 for racing and motorsport in general. And if I don't like them, I'm confident I'll get a similar amount back for them!

Lowepro Inverse 100AW - Canon 5DII and 85L(attached) + flash

Lowepro Fastpack 200 - Canon 1dIII + 70-200L 2.8 IS (attached) + 24-70L in top compartment.

Usually use the first one for studio shoots or just casual outdoor.

Second bag is ready for whatever action I need it for.

Also pack chargers etc in the fastpack when needed.

Lowepro slingshot

Am trying to trim down what I carry as most of it doesnt get used, can leave alot of stuff at home/in the car and use as required.

Having said that things, no camera I cant do without, marsbars, water, handwarmers, always check these are in the bag.
