What you say, not another 365!

I love the snow shot.. nice sky colour and the wall leads you in perfectly..

I agree.. skip spring.. bring on summer ;)

good luck for feb!

Thanks Mich, if im honest that picture was 3 shots in of the same scene. This 365 is great to keeping your eye sharp and critical, how are you finding yours?

Congrats on the pass! I remeber passing my test! I just wanted to drive everywhere! Such freedom! it is pretty wierd being in a car on your own for the first time!

Not sure on your lil! Need to get the eyes in focus and brighter.....but I know how difficult they are to get! And why do they always move after you have the shot set! And why do they want to sniff the lens!?

not too bad.. hard fitting it in with work sometimes as do 24hr sleep over shifts so either a rush before I go or trying to get something with compact when there which isn't ideal really but am getting by.. a few shots I would have dumped usually but have gone with them for the sake of getting a shot in for the day.. sure everyone is the same there..

Lil looks a grogeous puss, agree more focus on the eyes would have been good but if anything like mine thats not always easily done :)

That has got to be so hard fitting 365 around all of that, you must be rushed off you feet! i have noticed that a lot of my 365 has been done with my point and shoot as well, but when i have a good run at a clear day then i grab the dslr or at least try lol. some times iv had a **** day taking pictures and just went with the best of the mess

Thanks for the comments on Lil to:)

nice, unusual shot. good contrasting colours and nice dof...

yeah im really surprised by the Panasonic in the dark, it produced a better image then i thought it would:D

very nice. i would have been tempted by the b&w with this...;)

First things first, starting from today for a week I will only be using my DSLR, I have found my point and shoot really useful but I have come to rely on it a little to much.

And secondly todays post is 1 photo with 2 different kinds of PP and I was wondering if everyone could give me their opinions on which kind they like the most.

b&w for me. the colour adds nothing to the picture...

funny that you say that about relying on the point and shoot, i have been thinking about the number of shots i am getting with the coolpix for my 365...

Yeah thats why iv set myself this little project within the 365, iv not had the camera very long (about half a year) so it will give me time to gain plenty of experience using it. My only bugbear is I cant take it around with me like I can the point and shoot.

prefer 39 in B+W, looks a bit too busy in colour.. like the brickwork on that bulding, agree it would have been lost if converted to mono..

39 for me in black and white too... (i'm not bias towards black and white - honest) ;)

I'm liking the selective colours too on yesterdays shot! :)

like the perspective in 40, good use of colour as well...

Love the snail!

I think Selective colouring would have worked on the jars too. I think the B&W is a bit too dull and the colour too busy....IMHO

Like the nana's...cool shot...

haven't used the P&S once yet....thinking of doing some macro with it...maybe...but I am using my nifty fifty a lot...its getting me out of trouble...like my last shot! :)

Nice shot, not usually a fan of selective colour, but that seems to work.

Thanks Ham :)

Nice use of selective colour for day 40, and I like how you have put the old banana with the new ones :)

Thanks optimus, i love the contrast between B/W and yellow. Im lucky it worked so well really.

works for me.. nicely arranged and the selective colour is great

Thanks Mich :)

Now thats an idea i might go back to the jars another day and try out some colour popping/selective colouring with them. i would like a nifty fifty but is would be a nifty 100 on my olympus lol guess i could get the 25mm Pancake though:)

excellent work in 42...
