What you listening to RIGHT now?

Terry Reid - Seed Of Memory what a song. Why is this not more popular. I've never heard it on the radio ever. If you're a fan of things like Neil Young, lynyrd skynyrd, The eagles etc.. you will enjoy it.

Deep Purple are coming to town soon. My ticket came today. So I'm going through all my favourites. I haven't got to Highway Star yet though!

My fave is Pictures of Home... but what an album Machine Head is. Extraordinary.

Elvis with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra:D:banana:

Philip Glass: Koyaanisqatsi - Life out of balance. (Technically a film but Glass' soundtrack is superb, as is Francis Ford Coppola's film making).

Here's a snippet.

I enjoy whistling Philip Glass at work. You can repeat the same 3 notes for such a long time, people's heads explode.
I saw both films Koyannesquatsi and Powaquatsi when they were released. But Philip Glass does less depressing music.

I wonder how many different ways it's been spelled over the years. :D

(I have an original 1982 VHS of it here somewhere which I've never played. How sad is that? :))

Yes. Apologies. My mobile spell checker is not cultured enough to help me here. And I've also just got back from the all afternoon Christmas drinking dinner.
Anyway. Just watched Queen. From rags to rhapsody on the BBC iPlayer. A great musical treat.

Haha, excuses, excuses. I've been drinking Woods rum in the pub all evening - I'm surprised I can still breathe. :)
