Thank you Mr Gilmour et al
And good night

Just finished this

And now I'm just about to give this a listen, as I've not played it in ages,
and yes I was there :)

Something from Taylor Swift. Yup my daughter has got it turned up to 11 this morning.

Yesterday a bit of Cody Chestnutt, Sam Smith, Alt-J, Slash new album - world on fire, a right mix

The thread about Northern Soul, got me to listening to this again. Keep the faith.

Tons of Kate Bush. Saw the doc on her last night and had to go and buy a few of her albums as I've only had 'The Whole Story' until now.

Led Zeppelin's Rock'n'Roll, as performed in 2007 at the O2. Sky Arts 1 again.

All of it :)

Just finished listening to their latest, although it's not that dissimilar to some of their '70s stuff.

Not listened to all of that one just a few snippets, but I will get round to it ;)

One more before bed.....

Had my parents staying for New Year. They've only just gone home.

Always a bit fractious between me and my old man

I Fecked off years ago (had to) to Scotland. Never really saw eye to eye.

That said I'm a dad of 4 now I still feel undermined and feel like a child when he's with us but we both have an amazing relationship with my kids now.

first single off their new album, bit "poppy" but not bad

tis awesome

I have been listening to Paul Simon's Webster Hall concert from 2011 since a friend played me some of it last week.

Probably the nicest sounding live show I have ever heard and featuring some of the best musicians with no egos who are obviously enjoying playing.

Steve.

Iron Maiden - Donnington '88
I'd gone off them after Somewhere In Time came out, but agreed to drive some friends to this when they paid for my ticket and fuel. I had a bad ankle so didn't get involved in the crush. I loved GnR at the time and keep forgetting about the tragic events of the day.

I am still waiting for the live video of the show to be released to I can re-live the moment, for now I just listen to the albums played on the night (Hounds of Love and Arial mostly)...and yes this track wasn't played at the concert, it's what's playing now from Arial...
