The 1989 Pink Floyd gig A delicate sound of thunder, off sky plus from bbc4 26/7/14. A lot of pink Floyd's stuff before my time but one of my favourite bands and The Wall is the best album EVER!!

Haha.

I check regularly with the neighbours to make sure I'm not disturbing them. They say the don't hear a thing, even though it's a terrace.

That's partly 'cause they built 'em proper in 1911 and partly 'cause I put a lot of time and effort into building a system that sounds great at moderate levels.

Just cleaned my stylus using the "magic eraser" method. Holy moly....it's like having a new system.

First album since cleaning.

 
Didn't appreciate this album at the time.

I was an idiot when I was a youth. Probably still am.

 
Been hammering my new turntable over the last few days.

Building up to, at last, playing my all time favourite album.

Playing right now is my favourite song off the album.

I'd never heard of this singer 'till I saw on Later the other night. Bought a CD immediately, arrived today.

80's rock at its best and some fine work on a Les Paul, combined with Fish's excellent vocal skills.
