Went to see Jools Holland last Saturday at the Albert Hall, he had Sandy Shaw, Ruby Turner and the guy who wrote and sang Cool for cats-WOW still a brilliant piece of pop music.

sounds like fun. Many years ago I was at a Squeeze gig on the occasion of Chris Difford's 40th birthday. Jools turned up and did a few numbers with the rest of the band and IIRC Joe Jackson made a guest appearance too.

The Stones - Exile On Main Street - some of the best music they ever wrote

The KLF - America: What Time Is Love?

John Frusciante - Invisible Movement

I'm in that weird part of my music library again :D

Supertramp - Crime of the Century. Found it in a second hand CD shop for peanuts at the weekend.

Last time I listened to this was 23 years ago, on one of those old tape walkmans. Oh the memories.

Bloody well right :)

Jon & Vangelis - The Friends Of Mr. Cairo

I thought I was the only person ever to have bought The Friends of Mr Cairo - John Anderson at his best, even if it is a minority interest album.

Chris

Jimi Hendrix - Born Under a Bad Sign from the Blues Album..........sweet;)

The Decemberists - Burying Davy

From their latest EP I got today, superb.

Jethro Tull - Songs from the wood

Found that and Aqualung in my favourite secondhand record shop, and the guy who runs my local bar immediately slurped them into the computer. So we're having a Jethro Tull hour or so ;)

A band called Voodoo Johnson, track called Bad Habit...

If you like classic hard rock (this track is quite GnR...), these guys are awesome... Distinctly NSFW though - check em out on iTunes...

awolnation and I can honestly say I have not enjoyed listening to a band this much since 1998ish.. seriously my love of new music ended around 1998, just piles and piles of garbage, I would imagine not 1 of my Top 100 albums would be outside of 1989-1996..

but I am loving awolnation

Just destroyed my thumb playing

Primus - The Antipop
and "Ballad of Bodacious"
