I too love many musical genres, including some almost "hated" by many people.
Truth is that some songs are simply great, regardless of genre.

Yep, you've got to be open minded in all your views to be able to appreciate what's being conveyed by any musician and i'll tell you what you already know, any music played live when you're there carries so much emotion.

And once again I have to agree with you there, but only if we are talking about real artist and not a "pre-fab group".

I just thought I'd make it clear though.
Once again, apologies if my words caused offence.

I can hear the mrs telling me what jobs I haven't done, goes in one ear, bypasses the brain and out the other ear. I don't think 6 months is very long to 'look' at a job, then possibly in another 6 months take another 'look' and decide how/when the job should be done. If a jobs worth doing, it's worth doing properly and not rushing into it :D

I can sympathise with that. We had a new boiler fitted in November. Took out the back boiler and the gas fire that was in front of it. I've placed a piece of plaster board over the resulting hole.
It has an A4 picture of a fire stuck on it with selotape while I contemplate what to do.

My stomach grumbling.... I need to eat!

I listened to it last night and quite enjoyed it. It's like any Radiohead album, you need to be in the right mood to enjoy it (or not)
