Sunday nothing planned as yet but if the sun shines I will be probably heading to Leeds & Bradford airport to take some pics..

Weather forecast is bad though so it may be a day indoors..:(

Anyone doing owt exciting worth mentioning.

Yep, going to Dorset to Breathe my curry fumes over them all  and get wet yet again..... ;)

I was supposed to be going to a rally in Scarborough today. But I got Bronchitis and have spent the week in bed so can't really justify standing in the freezing cold to watch a car go by for 5 seconds. So I am probably going to do some Christmas shopping and set up my fake Christmas tree and start working on my picture for my Christmas cards.

Not a lot probably! We've got to go and get the other half some new boots this morning (The soles are falling off the current pair and as he walks 2½ miles each way daily to the station.....!) then might go somewhere this afternoon to work further on "26 things". I fancy heading back to my fave spot near the river to get some autumn colour shots.....it poured down here yesterday though so the track might be a bit too wet for walking. :(

Tomorrow - hmmm...not sure yet. Might just be a lazy day!

All sounds very nice peeps. Myself I am up early and struggling with a hangover already after watching Wales v Canada at rugby last night. Friends coming down from the big smoke tonight, so some vin rouge tonight :) again ! Then tomorrow off for a walk up the River Taff . Spotted some leaping Salmon last weekend at a weir, fancy going back to see if I can manage a few quick shots !

Just got back from a run - its a beautiful, beautiful day today! Next a quick shower followed by a coffee and toast (with marmite, no butter) and nothing planned...heaven!

Sounds like you need some boots for yourself too.. :p

LOL - well spotted. Yes, mine have a small split round the edge of the sole. I'll hang on for the new year sales though I think! It was our holiday earlier in the year that did it - I was thankful I'd taken two pairs of walking boots as one pair were constantly needing drying out because it was just SO wet. he proper walking boots held out well but started leaking a little during week two! :D

I will be building a new PC this morning for a friend, then my son is visiting for the weekend so I will no doubt be getting a drubbing on Fifa 07 or something similar for the rest of the day.

Tomorrow, I think I may go and visit my Mum... and maybe stop on the moors for some pics if the weather holds...

Might nip up to Antwerp this morning on the bike, weather looks a bit iffy though. With any luck I'l manage to get out into Ghent tonight for a pint.
Tomorrow catching up with someone who's over from the UK for the weekend.
The rest of the time is filled with editing and getting pics ready for some deadlines next week, then planning for the coming week.

Probably going to take the kids swimming. Then there is a Beevers beetle drive this PM. Tomorrow was going to go do some work in the Alotment (slash and burn), but think I'd probably sink into the quag :(

At 9:30am it looked like this

Then at 9:35am it looked so...

Now it's hammering down (again)

evil craft fair at leeds castle, followed by evil town center....gutted

Snow here, just walked the dogs, about to feed the cats, got some rug racks for horses to put up, processing the orders from the wedding I took ages ago, MUST tidy out this room, that's about it.

Went to see Casino Royale last night, so thats prob my big night out of the weekend.

Bright & Sunny here today, though the wind looks a bit cruel.
After yet another visit from the plumber I might venture out with the cam, havent picked it up in weeks ...yes, Im going through one of 'those' periods :bang:

Oooh is it any good Glo? I must admit the trailers have whetted my appetite for it.

I'm gonna try and catch up on the forums today, those odd jobs that need doing. Then finish some processing of my photos (got a few HDR's and a tryptic to get done).

My mum is coming round to have her hair done (My wife's a hairdresser), so I can safely escape to the bedroom/office :D

Tonight I'll be getting a very early night, supposed to be going to Donna Nook very early in the morning with Matt and Ian, even though the weather isn't looking *too* promising.

And I have a stinking sore throat and the sniffles, so I'm overdosing on Beechams today to get me by...lol

No christmas shopping here yet, we do it during the quiet times :D

Nursing a cold and slight chest infection. This sadly means I keep being sat in front of a bowl of herbal brew and told to suck up the vial fumes :shake:

All in a good cause though, got to be fit for Monday night 'In Search of the Northern Lights' flight time

Tell you what Marcel, Ill pop round for a quick trim and I can tell you all about it ...seems a fair exchange! :D

Actually, I thought the movie started off great then went a bit flat, exciting chase on foot at the start but generally, it was lacking in the high speed chases/tech gadgetry that weve come to expect from the Bond movies ... I also thought it was a tad .... slushy! :gag:

Hope youre feeling better soon WetSparks.

My weekend... hmmm.... trying to work out ways of making the TPF Southern Curry Night legendary... (but I think Cheryl's already achieved that!)

That actually sounds like I'll enjoy it.
I've never really been 'into' the bond films (not since I was a kid anyway). This week though I've watched Die Another Day, and Goldeneye, and I'm thoroughly disappointed. Cheesy lines, hammy acting, dodgy special effects, and completely unbelievable storylines / scenarios. I don't expect it to be all lifelike, and I do understand they have artistic license, but I was thoroughly disappointed in them.

Looking at the trailer for Casino Royale though, it does look much much better.

...Errr! ...theres all that too, Marcel!

Like you I actually quite fancied the look of it even though Im not normally a Bond fan myself.
It was ok but I like a bit more meat with my veg! ;)

First Snow in the Lakes last night
Kirkstone pass in the Lakes was closed for snow last night - we've had hailstone most of the day in the city - but its really cold tonight.

As to what I'd doing - blooming working - preparing for a training course I'm giving on Monday, and a presentation I'm giving on Tuesday.

Finished work at six, now getting drunk :) since I don't have to work again till tuesday!

Re-snow, I drove south over the slochd (A9 south of Inverness) today, lots of packed snow there, lots of evidence of black ice around daviot, 2 vehicles off the road as I went past at 9:50am and one a few miles further on.

It's that time of year folks, watch out for black ice early mornings shortly after the sun has begun to warm the road surface. I wrote off a work van last new years eve because I was fooled by the nice 'warm' conditions.

That doesn't compute:thinking: . I dont have to work until Monday (and it's my turn to drive):shake: and I'm 1/2 cut already (probably why it dont add up :))

The snow bit is "cool". Up in't north where I was born 'n bred white stuff was common (tho not in Nov). Down here in Brissle I never get to see the stuff.
If there is ever more than 2 flakes per hectare the whole road system stops......

Enjoy yr beer/wine/whatever

Wine (cheap as chips 3ltr box of rose from Lidls which after 6 or 7 glasses is really quite good hic!) and tonight (maybe tomorrow too) (do I use brackets too much?) because I hate to drink the night before work, since I drive for a living I simply cannot afford to take chances. :)

(((respect)))) 'gud point. Driving and 'alkyhol - :nono: dont do it:nono: (for any kids reading).

today i did battle with a bluetooth car phone kit, not the best way to spend an hour but it went ok.

Now i'm sat on my @$$ eating quality street while getting up close and personal with stella in front of the telly.

Tomorrow...........thats more than an hour away so i've not got round to thinking that far ahead :D

Bought loads of photo magazines this morning and spent all afternoon reading them. Caught up with Pete's HDR article and Karen's day. Got the new mag that janice (I think) recommended. Watched Strictly and phoned for my favorites loads of times. Now 3/4 way through bottle red wine, watching Parky, and doing this forum via my lovely, sexy black laptop that him indoors bought me for my birthday. Hubby due home any minute now.

My daughter was in the Santa Claus Parade with her Brownie group today. Was loads of fun, I'll be sure to post some pics when I can. Then we went for some Chinese food at the Mandarin for supper. It just recently opened up round these parts. One of my favourite places to eat.

Now I am doing an assignment. :)

You must be very keen on that program, It must be quite addictive because every episode gets watched here too..:)

Who's gonna win it then..

My thoughts.

1: Mark Ramprakash and partner

2: Emma Bunton and partner

3: The young lass from Eastendenders can't rember her name.

Also anyone else think Brendan Cole has his head up his own @rse...

I tnink that it's getting really good now and agree with your three, but I also think Carol Smilie is getting better and better and will give them all a run for their money. She might even make the final. And don't forget Matt; he's another coming up on the rails. As to Brendan....

I love dancing (well, twitching and jerking to music :D)......but haven't done real dancing since I was a kid.
