The reason their prices are so high is because they have stores, staff, and various other things to fund.
Online only shops have a fraction of the costs to get back.

If it were me, I'd search around in all the local shops and get them to price match on a decent tripod. Don't get memory cards, they're well expensive. Get your memory at play.com or something.

I had the same problem, got a battery grip in the end, could have got it cheaper but wanted to use the vouchers and tbh i love the grip so well pleased with the purchase. Good luck finding something.

I'd put it towards a 40d on price match, then get another £100 cashback from Canon.
