Yes
As titled...

Given the option of 'stealing' a feature, or particular piece of kit that is not available on your chosen system, from the 'opposition' what would it be.

Me??

As i'm an Olympus user, i would love to have access to the Plastic Fantastic, Nifty Fifty. Yes, Oly do a 50mm F2.0 Macro, but not for £50 Inc VAT!!

What about you........

Without putting too much thought into it, I'd like something simple like gridlines on my focus screen.

I wouldn't mind trying a Foveon X3 sensor.

Ask me last year and it would have been a small list of stuff like sensor cleaning and 3 colours on the histogram...but since the D300 etc came along all I can think of is the nice range of wide Cannon lenses that are available.

However, the honest answer is I haven't much of a clue about any other brands...in fact i don't know that much about my own Nikon brand. :gag:

I would like to steal Edinburghgary's wallet, then I could buy all the L glass for my canon.:lol::lol::shrug:

If I could steal anything from Nikon for my Canons it would be Nikons gift for making their bodies fit in your hand like it was somehow moulded there. :woot:

Cedric - buy a 1 series (oooooooh!) :D

Can I borrow the darksider's inferiority complex? ;)

Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED-IF AF-S VR DX Zoom-Nikkor Lens.

That nice little plastic cover that Nikon fit over their rear screens......MUCH better option than the nasty sticky sheets I currently use.

Oooh yeah, thats a good one. Why oh why can we not get them for Canons?

Indeed ^

A cheaper full frame sensor to go in my d200!

The Dynamic Range and Resolution of a 5x4 Transparency in my d200 would be nice as well.

An interesting thread! I don't know anything about Canon but it seems more people want stuff from Nikon for their Canon rather than the other way around lol!

PS A Nikonian here! ;) And no, I don't think there's anything I want from Canon.

I think it shows that no system is without flaws, and there is always something out there that owners of one system would like from the other.

:D And also demonstrates that Canon owners are comfortable with discussing other makes ;)

I want 20mp but guess I could buy another Canon for that ;)

I would happily donate to Canon, as their high-ISO shots are appalling!

:naughty::naughty::naughty:

The high street availability.

I have the cash in the bank for an A700 but will have to make a 60 mile round trip to see one in the flesh. I'll be buggered if I'm buying one unseen from an e-commerce trader.

I'd like Hasselblads H3dII image quality on my 350d ;) Oh for the same price as the 350d too

It's a biggun'

I'd quite like a mirror up button on my canon cameras.

I can't really think of anything that I'd "import" for my mamiya kit.

You can download grid lines for your view finder Marcel

I would pinch the d3's sexy curvy-ness :)
for my up coming 5d.

Grid-lines for my viewfinder.
Off camera flash system without having to purchase any extra accessories.
Plastic screen protector thing.
The flip down/up screen from the Sony A350. I reckon it could be quite helpful, and if its not I'll take it right back :P
I think thats it..

? How does that work? Where from?

And to answer the original question - I've already swapped all my Canon lens caps for Nikon ones - a massive improvement in usability
