What would you like to find under the Christmas tree?

Funny reading what I put last year neither of my target lens have been added to the kit bag, but both are still firmly on the list, however a 14mm has been added :D trouble is if I add any more lens to my kit, I'm going to need a even bigger kit bag and truth be told the current one is a bit too heavy...well unless your a royal marine but I'm about as far from one of them it's possible to be

Hmm... It's nice to start pondering it. Mine would be a 24-70 to partner my new 5d3.... But that's silly money for a Christmas present so maybe a day out somewhere ... :)

Ban all the '14 posters - way too early to start thinking about commercialmas yet.

The most annoying response on the forum...if you don't want to discuss the subject why bother opening the damn thread, it's not like it was some ambiguous thread title for crying out loud

Even though it's a bit early for Christmas I was just talking about this this morning.

Photography wise only... I have Panasonic Micro Four Thirds and a Sony A7 so...

A set of Voigtlander 17, 25 and 42mm f0.95's for the MFT and for the A7 AF 35 and 55mm and MF Zeiss Loxia 35 and 50mm with AF and Loxia 85mm's to follow but after going through the list I decided I was happy with my Rokkor's, Zuiko's and FD's. Other half couldn't think of anything :D

I'd happily give a loving home to a Sigma 150-600mm "S". That said, I think I'd benefit more from more travel, so I'd settle for a good pair of RTW tickets. (One for myself, and one for my mother. She's fairly well travelled within Europe, but has barely ventured outside yet. I want to make that happen. I don't quite know how, but I must make it happen - perhaps Singapore, which I think she'd enjoy greatly, with such a great melding of cultures, and all the amazing food that you'd expect to come with that)

I would like to find a 70d body all wrapped up, but that has a 100% chance of not happening.

....That could easily be arranged. I shall be offering my 70D (body only) in TP Classifieds in a few weeks time as Santa is bringing me an early chrissie present of a 7D Mark II in November.

Would you like me to tag your name @michael23 when I start that thread?

I'd love a ... a nice big 400mm lens ... But as Santa doesn't come to me I will just have to save up harder.

...."Come to Santa, baby, come to Santa Sugar Daddy" :D

If you're a Canon shooter, I'm sure you would love the just launched lightweight (relatively lightweight) EF 400mm F/4 DO IS II - I know I would!

I ended up with one earlier this year :)

....Great camera body isn't it! I only need or want one DSLR camera body otherwise I would keep my 70D.

Thanks for reply :)

Its not quite the camera i wanted it to be but its fairly close and has impressed me.
Look forward to seeing your 7dmk2 results,

....No camera ever is everything you want it to be and the same applies to lenses!

I am an amateur wildlife photographer and shall miss the articulated screen which the 70D has but the 7D2 doesn't have. I won't miss the wifi or touch screen though - I never ever shoot video.

All my shots on Flickr so far are on the 70D.... https://www.flickr.com/photos/114775606@N07/
