What would be the best way to remove the lens flare?

Any help would be appreciated, I'm very new to photoshop and not sure how to go about it. By the lens flare I mean the orange sopts in the center-ish of the frame, not the flare from the sun. Thanks.

Draw round using the lasso tool and try content aware fill.

Should take about 10 secs to fix (as long as CA dosnt have one of its moments!!)
