What would account for a massive sudden rise in views on Flickr?

I usually get about 15-20 views a day. Yesterday 456...

It`s not of any really consequence, but I was just wondering.



And in other news, I had someone add a few of my footy shots as a favourite. Naturally I had a look at his other favourites.

By the look of it, he`s got a sock fetish... lol.

Did it coincide with uploading a lot of new pictures?
I got something similar after uploading by British GT pics, with 90% of the views coming from "Unknown Source"

I get my biggest jump in views when I upload pictures from model shoots... It suddenly seems to skyrocket which makes me think that Flickr is populated by pervs!

The number of comments relative to views though is really low, which tends to reinforce that theory.

Could be that someones linking to your image on another forum. Try googling the image URL?

I think it's the internet that is populated by pervs, not just flickr The most popular shots on my flickr by far are a couple of random snaps of my g/f I took when I first got my E-P1.
