This will be the first weekend for me no longer having a day job, so going to have to take selling pictures a bit more seriously now.

Saturday is a long day for me too, off to Edinburgh for the Scottish Hockey Cup and Plate finals (men & ladies, 4 games)
Sunday is the start of the UK American Football season. I'll be travelling down to Gatehead with East Kilbride Pirates.

Waterside table tennis club's closed tournament. It's on days like this that I wished I'd taken up an outdoor sport.
 
Slow weekend for me :

Friday : BBQ at the back garden :cool:
Saturday : Tamworth vs Crawley (promotion chase)
Leicester vs Newcastle (BBL)
Sunday : Either Chester or Guildford (BBL)
Wednesday : Chelsea (WSL)
Thursday : Birmingham City (WSL)
Friday : Basketball 1/4 Finals (BBL)

Hmmm - now that I look at it. It wasn't that quiet :thinking:

I was hoping for a kids game in the local junior league for a relative who's son plays for them but the manager wants me to have a CRB check. :bonk:

So I will play by his rules and have contacted the league welfare officer. :shake:

Well that didn't go to plan, the result that is, lost 2-0, ends an 18 game winning run.

last weekends hat trick hero is now in hospital to find out the extent of an ankle injury after falling awkwardly and is a serious doubt for Wembley

Just noticed this, but was getting ready to drive to leeds soyou can now have my reply,

British Universities American Football League.

there were 2 games for different championships.

Cardiff Cobras Vs Hull Sharks (Cobras won)

and

Birmingham Lions Vs Portsmouth Destroyers (Destroyers won)

shattered when i got home as each game lasts about 4hours.

Brilliant day though, non stop rugby and everybody enjoying themselves in the sunshine. Magic.:thumbs:

PS: Had a 10.30 start this morning for a championship title decider for a local football team......yes we won 7-1 and clinched the Div 5 title and with 2 games left we have P14 W12 D2 and L0.:thumbs::clap:
