What was your first digital camera with changeable lenses?

Another D70 here! Funny, when I look back on photos from that time I never think "oh, look at the low resolution". We truly are blessed with the tech we get to work with.

D3400. I haven't been doing this anywhere as long as most people here.

D80 for me, with very good 2.8 Sigma lenses but can't remember the details. Great camera and in retrospect I wish I'd realised earlier that glass slower than this can still be good glass!

Canon EOS 450D for dSLR, but also had a Nikon Coolpix (5000 or something like that) that I had wide angle and zoom attachments (was a jacked up P&S and got a lot of mileage with it over the years).

Minolta Dynax 7D. Can share accessories (and lenses to a cerain extent) with my Dynax 9 bodies and for a 6Mp sensor has surprising image quality.

Nikon D7100, was later passed down to my sister along with a D7200. She still uses both.

Canon 400D, bought new when I was in 6th form - best purchase I ever made. Taught me so much and travelled the world with it. Took some very important photos to me.

Had a Minolta Dynax 7D as being in Milton Keynes we had the main Minolta and Leica centres for the UK here and was lucky enough to get a good discount through a friend there.

Nikon d300 and a d40 as a back up. Wish I still had the raw photos from them as would love to see how new software could edit some of my photos from that era.

The Nikon D90, I then got a D7000 which I didn't really get on with, so got rid of it and brought another D90 which I kept until 2019 when I went mirrorless.

Canon D30, the first 'affordable' digital SLR. Used it for football photography in 2001/02 Now I look at gear and think how easy it would have been with current levels of equipment...

Kodak DCS 520 - which was a Canon EOS-1N film camera with Kodak digital gubbins grafted on to make a 2MP DSLR; I believe my employer (regional newspaper) paid close to £10,000 for it in 1998.
...Interesting times.

Nikon d5300 with a lens that cost three times as much. Owned it for a couple of weeks. Got drunk in a bar in Reno and the rest is history. Was more upset about having to pay another $400 to replace my 2 day old custom made hat. The insurer paid out for the glass but not the hat :(

Canon 1Ds Mk2 was my first DSLR.

Nikon D200 with battery grip.

My first was a Canon 300D AKA Rebel. Went into Curry's took £600 out of my pocket in crisp twenty pound notes and handed it over to the young salesman. I will always remember what he said "wow, never seen that much cash before" Alas my love affair with Canon did not last very long though.

A 450D still got it in the back of the wardrobe I think looking at previous posts it seems a very popular / common camera to start off with
