Hi guys/gals

what are you best ways to releive stress. I am working long hours and other things are getting to me!

what do you do for instant stress or anger releif! I use to play alot of first person shooters on the pc and that was a non lethal of taking stress out on some unsuspecting soul. Time does not permitt me to do this anymore.

now is there any no harming way to stop my temper boiling or me cracking.
The long hours dont help but they are being done for a reason that i will enjoy greatly!

I tend to just deal with it. Most days I'm stressed not due to working being stressful but because I'm stuck in my office most of the time.

I've started going to the gym so will see if that has an affect on things :)

a good shag normally does the trick.

failing that, try a good comedy dvd.

Juggling? Start with scarves then move up through balls, rings and clubs to FIRE. Or go for the numbers rather than the different objects.

(Hint, get proper juggling balls - they don't roll as far when [not if!) you drop them.)

The only time I get stressed out is if I can't get to the gym
I work out 5 days a week in the gym. I don't really get stressed. On the rare occassion I do 1/2 hr on the punchbag helps.

I was pretty p*ssed off til I just watched this. (Clicky)

Go out and mug old grannies or pick on people I know I'll beat in a fight.

im a lone worker on 12 hr days and nights.nights are stressful so i mess about on the pc editing pics ive taken whilst out and about for fun.try a harmonica you can only annoy yourself.better still build model boats , i love a good tug at times

I train 1-2 times a day in the gym or at home on my turbo trainer, or if really really stressed, i get on my bike head for the steepest hill, and ride as fast as possible back down it. Hitting 50-60mph on a road racer bike that has 19mm slicks tyres, with brakes that'll give you a 200meter stopping distance if you very lucky in the dry with nothing but a bit lycra for protection really focus's the mind.

Pretty similar here, I'll either get on the turbo trainer and put on a killer intervals session or grab my running shoes and head out - whatever the weather I find it really sorts me out

A long hot soak in the tub, a massage or indian head massage, writing a plan with where you'd like to end up, dance to some loud banging music, contact a friend and have a laugh, go for a walk in beautiful scenery ?????????????

I like a bit of gardening.

I must admit, when I was at uni, I found the best way to relieve stress was to shoot. I never lived very far from the range, and I was on the club commitee, so I had the range keys. Photography in Exeter wasn't as good as I'd hoped.

Now I find that I'm able to get out more with the camera, and also, I will listen to music. Sit in my massive bean bag and chill out to some "chill out" :D

Clay pidgeon shooting is amazingly soothing, I love the recoil of a 12 bore...

...although the recoil off an SA80 on auto is pretty tasty too  That really does calm you down lmao.

An old mate of mine shattered his collarbone on recoil holding an SA80 wrong.

One thing he wasnt, was "calm"

I saw a guy get removed from a range by his helemt chin strap some years ago lol...he emptied an entire 30 round mag down the range when he was supposed to be firing single shots in groups of 5...

...he missed the target (100 yards away) with every single round

Really, he couldnt have been holding it at all in that case, i never thought the SA80 had any noticable recoil, even after hours in the firing the range.

Infact my old 2.2 air riffle had more kick.

This guy must have been on the verge of a break-down!
