What the hell was I thinking!!

Well, received an email yesterday from Dry January saying I'd done it :)

Thought about having a few, but decided I didn't feel like one. Off out tonight with wife and daughter for a curry to celebrate her her 10th birthday. Might have the odd snifter :)

Sod going coffee free for a month! Dry January was a breeze.
 
I'll stick to trying to lose some weight! Aiming for around 1lb/week. Did have a bit too much of a liking for vanilla syrup in my coffees so have dropped that in favour of a sweetener tablet.

Has hell frozen over?? (and NOT the one in the US of A either!!) When it does I'll give up coffee ;)

Give up the sugar...... I have lost 7lb over the last couple of weeks......
 
Did you see the Horizon (?) show about the identical twins who followed different diets? One went fat free the other sugar free. Not convinced that sugar free is that good for you - the twin who followed that diet ended up pre diabetic... LINKY to Google results on the story.
