What the hel is hapening with my keyboard ?

I'l try to explain but I suspect you wil se from this text

Whenever I have to pres the same key twice it only registers one pres so I'm unable to use any words with a double leter.

Same aplies to the backspace key in that I can only backspace one leter.

Any help apreciated.

If I wait 30 seconds it will (notice the double ll in 'will') alow me to do a double leter but I'm sure you can apreciate that it's not realy practical.

Not sure what 'until it togles means but I've played with the shift key to no avail.

Unchecking the 'Use FilterKeys' has sorted the problem

Cool, the left shift tap is for sticky keys, which is easy to toggle on by mistake!
