Hope this thread isn't just for the pro's. :-/
I did two football matches yesterday.
1st was a grassroots match for under 10's, which seemed quite hard work as the action seemed to be away to the other and more cuttered as usual.
2nd match was a seniors match which kicked off at 2pm. It started off ok as it was sunny, but by the second half the sun was dipping low and it started to rain. Using the usual Nikon 70-300 4.5-5.6. I had to throw the ISO way up. I haven't had much chance to check yet, but this was the first time I've used the ISO so high. How I wish I had 2.8![]()
At least you had a 2pm KO. The usual 3pm means its getting pretty dark before the end of the first half! I managed 1/320 f2.8 iso 3200. Going to Kingstonian on Saturday ... they are Ryman League, probably lit by Duracells.
Glad you enjoyed the Kendo, Nick, even if you struggled with the photography.
