What spec PC do you have?

might be me.. but it was a hardware issue not software. it was actually a server grade array controller that died and corrupted data on all attached drives.. the only way back was restoring from tape.
 
as well as the PC spec are there recommended sources to purchase complete PC's ?

i.e. in your experience what are the brands to go for and avoid?
