A friend (!!!) has manipulated this image for me but won't tell which software it is. Has anyone on here used anything similar, and if so, what is it please? Thanks.

It's called Portrait Professional, just google it. You can tell it's that as the image is pretty crude on smoothing in the skins tones and blurs out on the edges, Priced at £49 for the cheap version.

Really? I thought PP was for... portraits - certainly is when I use it and I can't see a multiple whole body option

Whatever it is, it's horridly overdone on a good shot IMHO :D

don't do the same thing as that photo as it is awful.

do I need my eyes tested or is it soft?

Easy-peasy to do that in PS, that is...
Duplicate layer, add some gaussian blur - change layer properties to 'overlay' or 'soft-light' - alter opacity to suit...save...open next image...

That'll be £5 please...lol

snapper... seriously, you dont need to know what caused the destruction of this image.
There are plenty of tutorials available on here and the internet if you want to add some pp pop to your images... then you can tell your 'friend' to b****r off when he asks how you did yours :)

Yep my thoughts exactly. But most people get over using it pretty quickly.;)

Hey, if it helps pay the bills - it falls into the same category as colour-popping, which I loathe with a vengeance...:suspect:
