Putting some images together for a friend of my wife who will be showing them in a presentation via a PC and projector. Is there a "best" size and resolution I should give them to her?

Depends on the max resolution of the projector I think, could be wrong though

She'll never be able to answer that :( Looking at it from a different angle then what is the most common res of projectors, if there is such a thing.

depends how new it is.

new ones might be HD, (1900x1200)

old ones might only be 1024x768

A lot of the older, cheaper projectors do only 800x600 too. Some of the newer ones are restricted to the same res too.

Its very unlikely to be a HD projector. I'd play it safe and go for 1024x768. If theres any chance she can get a make/model you on the projector from the venue that'd be all you need and is less intimidating than a resolution ;)

Yep, most projectors are either 800X600 or 1024x768 resolution so there's no need to prepare an image greater than those pixels.

Not sure of the pixel depth of projectors though... anyone know...?

thanks guys, I think I'll provide both sizes and she can take it from there :)
