When you have edited your wedding photos and want to save them as a jpeg or tiff what size do you save them too 12"X10" or what MB
is there action you can use to do this in cs5

Thanks for all info

full size, as is, sharpened for print

I also output a set for web (smaller 800 px on longest edge, sharpened for screen)

I was the second photographer and have to supply them to the first photographer on DVD with the raw files on dvd to,so to keep the amount of dvd I will use I wanted to make the images a smaller size and was wondering if there is a standard safe size to use.

Just give him the raw files (it seems that's what he's asked for). Assuming a 5D2, your raw files will be 25Mb-30Mb each, which is 150 or so per DVD (DVD is 4Gbytes give or take). How many have you taken?

Or more correctly, how many have you taken that are worthy of being considered for album shots?

I took 755 and got it down to 350, he asked me to edit my photo's and wants the raws as back-ups

Raws are raws - you can't save them at a differing size. You'll just have to bite the bullet and either give him 5 DVDs of RAW files or negotiate that you only give him the 350 raws in which case you might just get away with 2 DVDs...

Full size if you have saved as Jpeg or tiff.
Are these for a customer or were you second photographer? if your a second then I'd be guessing the main photographer would want the originals as well as edited shots (in case he/she wants to re-edit for any reason.

Any reason why they have to be on DVDs? You could put them on a 16GB (under £20 these days) memory stick or even a CF card, let him download to his hard drive, get your stick back...
