What photographically speaking would you like for Christmas?

Nothing, other than the time to use the kit I've already got.

A Canon 60mm Macro (which I'm lucky enough to be getting :)). Then I'm planning for a Sigma 120-400mm mainly for shooting cricket, happy days....

Dont you need a very s.l.o.w.w.w.w.w.w.w.w lens for cricket? lol :D

for santa to get to the bank statements before the wife finds out what I'v spent on new gear. :suspect:

A 35mm film scanner. The V500 is great for MF but horrible at 35mm.

Also a 24/2.8 for the Fuji S5 since my 18-135's AF died.

Wouldn't mind Santa bringing me some talent and inspiration!

Also a 17-55 f2.8 and some Lee filters would be nice too

Seeing as though this is the "if I had endless pockets and its holiday season"

Throw a Profoto Pro-B3 AirS & a couple heads & a selection of modifiers my way :), plus a new EF 85 1.2L II

A nice D300 or if the recession has not affected the North Pole to badly a shiny D700, please :D

Same as I wanted last year and the year before that and the year before that etc.

A ROKKOR 58mm F1.2

I reckon my Santa's deaf :bang:

Pocket wizard kit - I hate on-camera flash!

A Pentax 67II with 90mm f2.8 LS (leaf shutter) plus a later version 55mm f4 for the wide end and a Pentax-M* 67 400mm f/4 ED for tele. A Pentax LX with a 50mm f1.2 wouldn't go amiss either nor would a Minolta Dynax 9 with a 35 - 70mm f4 'mini beercan and a ...

And a supply of 100 rolls of 120 and 135 (35mm): Kodak Tri-X 400,T-Max Delta 100, Portra 400 and 160, Ektar 100, Ektachrome E-100VS and (sadly impossible for the next three) HIE IR film, EIR false colour IR film and Technical Pan 25; Ilford FP4+ 125, Delta 3200 and SFX; Fuji Velvia 50 and 100 and Provia 400X and 100F. + Some new 100 and 400 speed colour 110 film for my Pentax Auto 110.

(And a shed with several deep freezes to store all the film in! and plenty of space and security for all the gear!!)

But you do know about it when you have carried it after 6 miles.
Regards
Richard

I seem to gave ended up with a D90 as it was on sale at a too good to miss price :-)

Chuffed and excited just need to get shooting.

It will probably next years birthday and Christmas and wedding anniversary present as well but that's a sacrifice worth making.

Still need a laptop or PC for editting all the more ironic is that I picked up Elements 9 cheap recently !!

Something that doesn't exist... I want a camera with the size and weight of a 450D but the AF system and burst rate of a 40D! I've got both at the moment and am torn as to which one to keep.
