I'm after a PC tower...... Fast for editing weddings on and shoots!
What should I be looking for?

And where should I get it from?

Custom built perhaps .....?

I would only want it for Lightroom and a bit of Internet!

What should my budget be?

Could I use a 39 inch tv as a monitor or should I get a dedicated monitor????

Something like this from Novatech or this from Scan should do the job but I'd up the RAM to 16GB on both.

You'll definitely want a dedicated monitor. If you've got the desk space then 27" 2560 x 1440 would be good. Make sure you get an IPS screen for wide viewing angles and good colour reproduction. I have a now-obsolete Samsung to that spec but the Dell range is popular and this looks like a good choice.

Make sure you read some of the threads in here about backups.

If you aren't frightened of doing it, I'd suggest building your own.

And I'd buy a dedicated monitor, either a Dell Ultrasharp or Asus PA249Q. TVs tend to be overly contrasty and overly saturated.

buy parts and build it, it's so much fun :) if you not competent in it, check http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ for custom computers

in regards of monitors, DELL pretty much best buy for money i guess. i have U2413hm and U2312hm great monitors (U2413 ace)

3 years ago I replaced my PC tower with a gamer notebook. It has 128 GB SSD and an i7 3630QM quad core processor. I very happy with my decision. Now I can work where ever I want and I have the processing power I want.
