I've just ran out of glossy photo paper.

Can anyone recommend paper for home printing.
Mostly A4 but A3 would be good too.
My last batch was HP Premium plus photo paper which was OKish
Must of the time I use Hahnemuhle PhotoRag bright white

Printer is an Epson R3000

I like the Ilford Galerie. 90%+ of my printing is on their smooth gloss paper. I find that it matches well with the Canon inks I use - not tried it with Epsons though. (Mrs Nod used to use 7dayshop's own paper in her old R2200 but that was for fairly short life posters rather than "archival" photo prints.

I've had an Epson R3000 for 3 years now and have used a variety of papers, and to be honest none of them have been bad at all.
From Fotospeed the PF Satin, Gloss and Lustre all worked well and the Platinum Baryta also gave very good results. I've also used Permajet Oyster and Ultra Pearl which both gave good results. However the Ultra Pearl has a very noticeable texture compared to others I'ver used.
I've used Ilford Galerie Prestige Smooth Pearl and Smooth Gloss which also give nice prints, however these two have a mild 'sick' odour, I was close to the papers when i noticed but but it's only these two I've really noticed this from. Epson Traditional Photo Paper is also good but the best 2 papers I've used are Hahnemuhle photo rag pearl and Canson Baryta Photographique.

I've got some Ilford Gold Mono Silk and Permajet Parchment 285 but haven't made any prints on them yet.

Thanks @stu.artd I use the Hahnemuhle photo rag but never tried the pearl.
I'm still waiting for the profile for some Fotospeed paper I bought but it looks quite good and I like the subtle sparked finish.
On a side note do find it difficult to print dark greens on the R3000? Mine come out a little muddy

The fotospeed papers are very good.
I haven't noticed a problem with dark greens on my old one. I've only had the replacement for a month or so (thanks to the free 3yr warranty I got with it) but will be sure to check for that.

Canson Baryta Photographique. Very similar if not Identical to Ilford papers. Very nice and my current favourite

90% of time I use ilford galerie prestige A4 paper for most of my prints (gloss - for colour prints, smooth pearl-for B&W prints) - other 10% Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk

HP Advanced glossy always seems to give me good crisp prints

I've used that & it is very good. Great colours too
