What outdoor/hill walking trousers?

Personally I would go here( http://www.pennineoutdoor.co.uk/about_us) and buy some Ventile, but before that I would go here (http://spencers-trousers.com/) and talk to them ,and then I would have a pair of Ventile walking breeks made to measure.
Cheap they will not be( £130 odd ) but as far as fit and comfort is concerned great

When I was in store I noticed Go Outdoors sell the terra trousers in short, regular and long lengths.

I was in a Go Outdoors store. Mind you the store looked like a bomb had hit it, poorly organised and stuff all over the place.

The short leg trousers are easy to find on EBay, the long leg are harder to track down.

I won't purchase clothing online unless I know it fits etc. I can't be bothered to have to send stuff back if it doesn't fit or isn't comfortable - life's too short...
