What next - Not sure whether to laugh or cry...

No problem with that at all...good business acumen if you ask me.

I know of at least one photographer/TP Member here that has done a proposal shoot here in the London area in the same, 'hidden in the bushes' style. Whether it will catch on I don't know, do us Brits tend to be far more 'reserved' and the guys probably more worried about a negative answer? Not sure, but from a business perspective, why not offer it. ;)

Not a bad idea to get some shots of something so personal if it's a spur of the moment thing for one of the parties involved. In these modern times there's a lot less 'one knee' proposals, I asked my mrs if she wanted to get married in the queue in argos while looking at the jewellry counter.

And your proposal was caught on CCTV....Argos have been doing these proposals for years!

Really struggling to see the problem with it. My wife would have loved to have a record of the moment I reckon! Should would then have a visual record of the biggest mistake she ever made (joking!).

I think its a fab idea, get it right and you're pretty much guaranteed the wedding too. Makes good business sense and what a great idea to get some completely natural emotion. There's obviously a market for it.

Good idea.

A cheaper way would be to propose in front of CCTV cameras, then get a copy of the footage under the DPA. ;-)

I don't get it, why would you want to make yourself look like a Z list celeb, i bet anyone who say that happening was thinking "who the hell is that, and why are they being papped"

But, if there is a demand for this strange behaviour then fair play to the tog being paid to do it

Could be worse, neither of them knowing about the guy in the bushes, now that would be weird :D

You old romantic.

Saying that, I think we were both stoned when we decided it would be a good idea to get married so I am in not in the best place to comment :)

Hiding in the bushes with a long lens in the UK is just asking for trouble if you ask me, people are over sensitive as it is, try that around my local big town and the couple will be too busy listening to people shouting "p***" to worry about a proposal. ;)

Edit. Thought does the photographer still get paid if she says no? Money up front I think.
