What netbook

looking to but a small netbook 10 or 11 inch, will be used mainly on holiday for freeing up space on memory cards, listening to mp3's via small external speakers internet checking on TP etc, email. Not too much multitasking as I believe they are not reknowned for it. Playing a movie from hard disk without stuttering too much would be nice, HD would be a real bonus but not essential.

Trying to keep budget under £300.00 if possible.

It seems a minefield ofthem , any recommendations folks ?

First generation iPad sounds perfect for your requirements other than that you are asking for a netbook. It is smaller, all screen and excellent battery life

Went out and bought one today, Acer Aspire 722 2gb version, it's mainly for the wife and to take away on holidays, it's a neat little netbook. Not really for photo editing but dumping photos on and watch the odd movie while away. Just watched a Clash of the Titans on it and it ran smooth as a die.

I'm quite happy with the performance and she's happy with the colour, I drew the line at her getting a pink netbook
