an on going poll on rangefinderforum shown that almost 88% of the ppls develops their own (rangefinderforum dot com/forums/showthread.php?p=1424253).
Wonder how this is going with our folks?

add: and the percentage of each last year? and last five years?

How about an option for all but digital ? I've never yet had to dunk my CF cards in ID-11

argh......

I shall have more questions that this. How to edit poll?

q2. Do you develop film? (multiple choice)
- I develop film
- I do print (darkroom)
- I scan the film
- I send them to lab

TheBigYin - Don't go there, by no intention to make this a D vs A battle ground. I just what to see what ppls are doing.

Going for a meeting, I will sort the poll thingy out if no being done by any one yet, TheBigYin - would you like to give it a go?

Apparently you get quite interesting effects  :D

I use all formats, one, because I have too for my A-level, and two, because its fun to delve into all areas!

In fact i'm off into the darkroom this afternoon with a few rolls of film I need to develop... and I'm actually quite looking forward to it! :)

I develop and print black and white. colour neg and slide I send out and then scan

I was only pulling your leg - pretty much everyone on here uses a digital camera occasionally - if you need proof, all you need to do is look at the new toys thread - I'm fairly sure that its almost exclusively dijikal

As far as processing my own, yep - I've got the kit to soup anything current - B&W, C41 or E6 - even dabbled in x-processing the colour stuff  But I don't have the space for a wet printing setup, so my work tends to be largely hybrid... to use the old convention they had with cd's mine's a ADD setup - Analogue Capture & Dev(film), Digital Darkroom manipulation (Scan and CS5), Digital Print (Inkjet or external printing).

I'm waiting for a load of second hand darkroom gear so I can start developing my own stuff.

Difficult to answer as I shoot all of above but slide and only develop my own B&W. I can't do my own prints though, a lack of equipment, space and time all stop that!

When I bought our first home, I had the garage made over for a print lab. Then was occupied by some other things. Never print a single one.
I do 'scan' them though - used slide duplicator and a full frame DSLR.
I still do B&W film developing, but then only scanning and reprint from a light room not a dark room.

I had to click on the closest fit ie all but I use digital, colour and b&w. I only develop my own b&w

I'm kinda 50% of the above so not quite sure what I'm going to click

Think you're right, best get this changed to a multiple choice.

Hijack alert - Managed to get around to printing anything yet Darren ?

I mixed the chemicals but lost my window of opportunity. I am hoping that I might get one or two this afternoon. Will set up the stuff and give it a try.

The p[oll does not work properly; in the sense that I couldn't choose option 2,3,4 - which is what I use

See, there is always something trying to stop me. I've just been offered an entire MF darkroom to collect this afternoon. Now I have 50% more enlargers than rolls of film I have developed :) Will sort out some stuff for people later.

I also need it multiple choice rather than as it is set... :(

Can you do that?

If you can it would be interesting to list the formats for USING, list them again for developing and one last time for printing.

EDIT: Just tried and I don't think there is an option!

Maybe change it to which one you *don't* shoot?

Actually, I'm confused... The topic is "Do you develop your own film" but the poll is "What media do you shoot"... I shoot all of the above, but I don't develop all of the above!

I've asked the mod team to have a look :)

Difficult to say as i can't log on as a user and see what you see. I have a link top right of the poll box that says 'edit poll'. If the OP doesn't then they can't edit it.

Not sure I understand what is being requested to change it for you. You can only have one subject line followed by as many poll options as you want. So each option must ask the yes no question if you want multiple topics..

You could always start a new thread and this one can be closed with a link.

Cant change poll, but i did changed topic title.:)

You can't change it to a multiple option poll once it's been created unfortunately.

I've always played with film... got into digital for a quicker result but realised it kills everything I enjoy abou film.

I shoot in black and white, I develop my own negs and I print from the darkroom.
