What Made Your Day Today?

Dropping back off to sleep after SWMBO went to teach her yoga class and being woken by the cat wanting to be fed (kneading me and purring loudly).

Getting call off daughter to say grandaughter (13 months) was back from her operation and all went well. She was born with an extra finger and an a huge tag on the other hand :)

My Son taking his GCSE Physics 2 years early, and getting a Grade A*.
This makes me very happy.

How strange. Glad the op went well :)

It was, it was on a stalk and dangled on the part of hand between top of little finger and wrist. Had a nail and everything, but she had no control of it.

Fresh figs still 19p each in Lidl.

Being told I get the keys to my new flat on 2nd November.
Don't know whether to cheer or panic! Prolly both.

Getting an apology from one of my senior managers for buggering up a fault at work leading to the customer going mental. doesnt happen very often!! (the apologies that is, customers going mental daily basis lol)

A suprise gift, my youngest daughter has just started Uni and her loan went in. I got presented with a Vettriano calander that I had been admirining a few weeks back :) how thoughtful.

Getting a thumbs up from Chanel on a design I made into reality for them :)

Celebrating my twin daughters 19th birthday with them :) had good weekend and lovely day.

Getting my physio session on Thursday cancelled today as I'm pleasantly ahead of schedule! Next session is a week today!

I should be able to start hydrotherapy in a couple of weeks too - can't wait.

Getting a cheeky smile from my 6 month old daughter the moment I walked in from work....it happens daily but never fails to do the business ;-)

Having a non pupil day today - can actually get some work done

Due to non pupil day - Maccy D's breakfast - yum!

Meeting my brothers tonight, going for a drink then on for a curry

Loving today ...

Ohh and I had 10 mins extra in bed and a slowwwww shower too :)

Toe's hurting less.

Good to hear you got out Carol, bet it was a fantastic feeling :)

Nod, good to hear toe is getting better and the cat's have not used it as a scratching post :)

Today my day was made by the realisation this is the last Tuesday for a few weeks that I will get up to a 6.30 alarm ... do you get a sense of de ja vu (sp) lol

Today was a good start. For the first time in a week, I was woken by a need for the loo rather than a need for a painkiller. No bills in the post. Cat not hassling for food or out.

Got a call yesterday from the hospital about my dad's medical situation; in a nutshell, his cancer is gone :).

Today went in to see the doctors and got the full rundown on his situation; thank God, he's given a relatively clean bill of health, given his age :)

News has still to settle in and being digested, as there were times when things just didn't look good at all.

Being released from school during my non contact time has made my day, means I can go and see my grandson in his first Nativity Performance :)

Just hope the no camera's allowed crew do not spoil it for me.

Just hope the no camera's allowed crew do not spoil it for me.

Take a printout from the BBC about the law on this matter; I hope you don't need it, but it may come in handy

It was fine, they just requested people only take photo's for own pleasure and respect others by not posting them on the internet :)

I was ready to fight my corner if need be.

I will edit so the other children's faces can not be seen if I post any up - tend to do that anyway.

That was good to ready, hope it stays away and good health continues :)

Thank you, and I hope it stays away too.

Dad's suffering has been draining on him mostly, and I've spent the past 1 1/2 years nursing him with almost hardly much of a life to myself. Not that I'm complaining, but it has been an ordeal.

Now that he's given an all-clear, we can start to plan some sort of normality to our life. I've got to decide if I'm coming back to UK to finish my studies, or move along and get a job. Dad, he's putting his feet up and taking things easy with a new lease on life, for which I guess we owe the Land Lord a big thank you

Got paid...

1600€

Might not sound like a lot, but this is my first proper pay-cheque since being a 'Mr' again and not relying on HMG for the bills to be paid...

A few more still owed, but the 'seal' is broken so to speak...:D
