The mortgage cover must be a huge weight off your mind. Hope the Sativex works for you.

Winning a minty looking Zenit E with Helios 44-2 for £3 on eBay.

A good old fashioned 'thank you' from a client who was happy with their new logo and business cards

You'd be surprised how many don't bother! :suspect:

Yep. Makes life a bit easier now. I can now look at reducing my hours at work. Fatigue is a real problem and end of week I'm just about done for.

Sativex will be interesting. Hope it will do something for my right hand. Worrying about loosing my shutter finger.

I know its mid-morning but I believe my day has been made twice over already!
Firstly, I got a cheque for £60 for my first paid photography job and a friend has given me an Alexander McQueen McQ tote bag for nothing!

Cat behaving as (what passes for) normal (for her) after a very sleepy day yesterday (booster vaccinations & worming tablet, involving basket and car ride - her idea of hell!). Yesterday was made by her climbing onto my back as a place of refuge (vet had by then finished stabbing her with needles and shoving pills down her throat), something she hasn't done since she was a kitten.

Calling my daughter this morning and hearing that my grandson (4 year old) only shed a few tears this morning going into school (he has been hating the seperation) and that she managed no tears too :)

Deciding on the mass noun for cats. A badness! Even one cat on its own can be a badness, 2 or more are definitely a badness, even if they seem to be being good.

And putting a few more miles on the bike. Soon be fully run in and I'll be able to take it up to the dizzying speed of around 70MPH!

I managed to do a fair amount of housework today and I hate housework!!!

What is the collective noun for more than one Nod?

Started voluntary work for a charity which supports kids with down sydrome

My partner leaning over to give me a morning kiss when I was still asleep, me somehow thinking I was being attacked by a creature in a half-dream state and starting to scream and fight it

Scared the s*** out of both of us  :bonk:

The cat snoring then farting and waking herself up!

The rain has stopped and I won't get wet riding home tonight from work on the bike :)

Realising I could afford the boots I have been drooling over for 3 days and buying them :)

A couple of things today. A 70-200 2.8 IS arrived in the post. :D
And i picked up a large canvas of one of my shots for the office that my boss wanted up on the wall.

Hmm. Kinda sad really, it all being photography based.

Oh no, hang on, one more thing. IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

Again, getting a quack appointment on the day I made it! As a bonus, I've managed to get one for the 4th Oct as well.

The cloud around this silver lining is that my buggering ear is still playing up. Now been swabbed to see if it's bacterial or fungal in origin before deciding on an oral medication to treat the underlying causes.

Yet anothet type of drops for the time being.

Oh, and the possibility of Miss Riley wearing a short skirt... Countdown time!!!

Finding out that this forum is a nice place willing to help out a know nothing with constructive advice and info.
