I managed to climb the stairs at work today, so I can now work at MY desk! My chair felt odd after not sitting in it for two weeks! :lol:

Seeing my daughter and squeezing her till she popped ... I was away for her A Level results on Thursday and had not seen her till I got back :)
 
Strangely for me. I went to have a look at my ex camera clubs exhibition. Well it was raining & I was not feeling very good after a knock yesterday.
The exhibition was very good & one pic has really stuck in my mind. Well done Alex!

Ach I felled a smallish tree, which did not want to fall! It hit another tree & came at me. I took a knock across the chest as it passed me by.:lol:
 
OUCH!! maybe best to avoid falling tree's in future.
 
Driving to work this morning and watching the most stunning sunrise unfold.
It's pouring with rain here now !
 
Getting my first A3 prints from DSCL in the post this morning, and learning how to create my first virtual frame in photoshop.
 
Coming out of the wood with a load of sawlogs. Got bogged down (thanks to a twit with a landrover last week making a hole). Had to take the load off, get unstuck, then put the load on again. That really made my day!:shrug:
 
To see one of the people fall over on cam and hurt himself then get up and pretend it never happened, i dont like him.
 
I went to the Jurgen Tillman photography exhibition at the Serpentine gallery. Mind blown.
 
Managed to get one of the roof clips on SWMBO's car replaced between showers. Also replaced the little plastic locator on t'other side.
 
Receiving a letter from my employer offering me a permanent contract. My temporary contract ceased at the end of September.
 
Knowing a good mate, who I haven't seen since February, is arriving tonight for a few days.
 
Being woken at 5.15 am by hysterical daughter and son .. mum we over slept HELP!!! then getting them, (4 young people) there cases of booze, rucksacks of clothes and food and tents into the bus (Kia Sedona) ... and to the station only 15 mins of schedual .... (Reading Festival) they better remember this come Mothers Day next year lol.
 
I was told I have the teeth & gums of an 18year old! All the rest is falling to bits though.:lol::lol:
 
My day was made today by two people coming up to me and asking if I would take some pictures of them - a small start but everything starts that way:)
 
Asking for a day off work in a couple of weeks to be told someone booked the whole week off in March 2009............great I thought so emailed the person to see if they could let the friday go.............my own inbox pinged and guess what
 
I just made some vanilla fudge. :D Mixture tastes very nice, waiting for it to cool, although I've majorly burnt my tongue 3 times (yes I never learn) by licking the wooden spoon. Mmmmmmmmmmm tastes so good. :D

Scrape it off with a knife.

I put the tray of fudge in a fan oven (fan on, but no heat) to shorten the time until it can be cut, packed and given away.

ohhh well done, will have a look when I am in WHSmiths next.

Today my day has been made picking up holiday brochures and thinking about going away next year ... has put me in a really happy mood :)
 
to find out that it was my day off work when i arrived at work ten minutes late anyway.
