What Made Your Day Today?

Turing my alarms off till the start of September ... ohhhh bliss!! no more 6.30 call - no 7am follow up ... hmmmm

I take it you're a teacher then? My OH did exactly the same thing this morning.

Today is my last day at work before a weeks camping holiday, and the weather forecast is looking good

I am Jim, secondary school :)
Hope the weather holds out for you.

Ohhhhhhhhhh the 2nd best thing today!!! booked tickets to go back to Scotland (Glasgow). Loved it last time, flying this time ... ohhhhh so excited hehehe

Ah, Glasgow. Keep an eye out for F.I.T.P

What made my day yesterday was finally being in the right area with the right weather to take a Royal Enfield Bullet Classic EFi out for a test ride, then ordering mine for collection on 1st August. Today was made by finding a new leather jacket (old one doesn't meet round my gut!) and getting a reasonable discount on it.

Another good thing about yesterday was organising a new roof for SWMBO's little blue car and going for a gentle pootle over Dartmoor (burgers at Warren house inn still good!) with the top down, although I now have a sunburned face.

I can hear what's going to make my day today - the ice crusher's doing its thang for my Mojito at 6 PM!

Getting a text message through that turned into several more that put a smile on my face.

Watching the dolphins playing just outside of Aberystwyth harbour... Seeing the mother and calf jumping clear of the water was amazing (and a regular sight too). :)

Wow! that would make my day as well.

Being able to go gym two mornings on the trott :)

Finally deleting someone off facebook that has wormed there way in and out of my life over the course of the year :)

The car passing its MOT with no advises.

Roll on Monday (when I pick the bike up!)

My car cost me 4 new tyres this MOT :(

I have a bike coming soon too .. push bike, looking forward to that too :)

External hard drive I thought needed RMA-ing to Holland for £14 seems to be working OK.

One of my favourite bands telling me that they think my pics are brilliant :D

Watchng my grandson playing all afternoon with his new Woody toy that I got him from Disney store and the hooooooge hug I got off him :)

Getting up and going out for a run at half 5 this morning.

Although the DHL man delivering my new grip a moment ago has challenged that for top spot.

2 things will be making my day today - #1, my wife gets back from visiting a friend in Paris and #2, once she's dropped her bags off here at home, she's taking me to pick up my new bike.

Today has been made by going to the gym, coming home, showering and knowing I have the whole day to waste if I want to :)

Well so far today. The sight (very close) of two Roe deer "fooling about" as they do at this time of year. I could even hear the grunts!

I envy you, this morning the only nature and grunts I heard were other gym members lol

Hearing that my cousin's 3d baby scan went well, and hearing that baby takes after my cousin (well me and cousin look a bit alike and we are both gorgeous!).

We think its a girl, but baby wont uncross its legs properly.

Its all so good because 2 years ago cousin lost her first baby when she was 5 months pregnant, and she also miscarried twins early on last year. Just 3 weeks to go until we see baby, and I cant wait

Yup! Although I should take this opportunity to apologise to anyone in the Exeter area since it's my fault that the weather's so foul today - I was planning on getting out and about on it to take some pretty pics in the sunshine...

The only thing I don't like is having to wear a bloody helmet. Can't see properly (they block peripheral vision), can't hear properly and I don't like the extra weight on my neck! Does anyone know how much the fine is these days? Last time, it cost me £30 but that was a few years ago now.

My day just gets better. I had to attend court today for jury duty. I was not one of the chosen ones.:D
