What kit do you crave?...

Either a 24-70 f2.8 or a 24-105 f4 IS.

Don't know which at the moment, probably the 24-70 :)

I'm actually quite happy with my current gear.
A 16/17-35/40 or a 100-400 would be nice but not something I really need. A set of studio lights would be nice too. I'd also like to start assembling some more primes.

I'm not so naive to think that equipment will make me better anymore, it can however help you do things you couldn't before, which is always fun :)

I'd like a longer AF lens, something like the 100-400L but that's just way out of my price bracket at the moment. I'd love a proper macro lens.

Craving kit leads to poor purchases at high prices.

However, if anyone wants to donate:

1. 200-400mm.
2. 200mm f2 VR.
3. Sigma 300-800mm.

I'd be a happy recepient :thankyou:

Happy with what I've got for what I do...although wouldn't mind upgrading to the 1D MKIII (but will wait until the MKIV is out and invest in that).

Going against all the other wildlife togs in here, I'd go with a 300 or 400 2.8....and not a 600 f4. Why? Well I'd feel a bit limited by such a long range lens...a lot less control over angles and compositions....I'd rather be in closer and have some control over what is in the frame and what isn't :)

What kit do you crave?

Artistic flare?

Natural ability?

Failing that, a Canon 24mm TS-E f/3.5 L would be nice.

I have plenty on my wishlist. Top of the list is a Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VR. I was considering buying one last summer when you could pick them up for £1150 brand new but I didn't have the money then. I have the money now but they go for the same price second hand on Ebay now.

On my totally unaffordable wishlist would be a D700 and a good set of quality portrait lenses like a 24-70mm f2.8 VR and the 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and 105mm primes.

Well I on the other hand would love that 600mm. Managed to get the money for one at the Jan prices. Since then it's gone 50% up, so will have to wait for prices to come down again. I resisted the temptation of selling my 120-300 to get the money towards a new 600mm now, because I know that I'll definitely be needing this shorter range for my wildlife, and the versatility of a 2.8 zoom is amazing.

Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8 before they've all gone.

Nothing else really.

Maybe a set of small primes instead?

Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L
...Opps I just bought one today :p :D

Bigma, 100-400HSM and a 70-200 f/2.8

I want a full frame camera.
Will it make me a better photographer?
Hell no.

Will it improve the quality of my photographs?
Hell yes!

I also would like another flashgun and another skyport receiver.

I'd be quite happy swapping my 24-60 for a 24-70L, too.
My 55-250? Swap that bad boy out for a 70-200 f/2.8 IS
My 10-20? With full frame it would be a 17-40 for me.

I'm completely content with what I have, full frame is just a want :)

Also, I'd be totally up for getting a D700/D3, a 24-70, 14-24 and 70-200 nikon equivalents.
Not because I think Nikon are better, just because it would be interesting to change over :)

Hmmm, crave is a bit strong but I'd seriously like a 70-200 f4 IS. And a 5D Mk II would be well received too.

pretty happy with what i have but........

a 70-200 L f2.8 would be nice ;)

cactus v4 should do me for a few months im going to have to invest in one quality lens before the end of the year to me taking my camera traveling a sensible choice as lugging 4 different lens half way round the world with all my other gear is not really an option.

Yeah like I said, more chance of re-floating the Titanic :D

But should try to prioritise what i "Really" need.. Ability springs to mind :help:

I'd love a canon 1d mk2. Whether a mk3 is within my budget when i get around to buying one later this year, we shall see.
