I would intervene, me and alot of other people. People like that really annoy me

Three youths with hoddy jackets, ohhhh sorry hard

Tony

THat is just shocking.

This says a lot as well:

Shocking.

Matt, time and time again adults have intervened when youngsters have been doing something like this, or vandalising cars or whatever and ened up paying with their own lives, I know it sounds horrible to say, but sometimes it's just not worth doing the right thing....

This is unfortunately true.

hoody jackets that could have all manner of weapons hidden inside.

Well that is why you don't confront them alone. I am sorry but if we see that happening down here we would have no problem going up to them.

But the guy who didn't intervene, he wasn't with a big gang of his mates, was he?

It's easy to be big and brave when you're young and with a load of your pals, Tony.....

I meant about the youths etc not the guy. I dont blame the guy. THere was that bloke from Warrington (up the road from me) who got stamped to death after telling someone to quite down as he wanted to go to bed or something like that.

TBH if someone was to vandlise my car or steal, I would just leave them to it. I could get another one!

The little ****** should have same done to them! What the hells up with people today?
hope they are caught and they end up as Bubba's Bitch in prison see how hard they are then!

Wouldn't though, would they?

3 months in juvenile detention facility (aka Summer Fun Home!), followed by 150 hours community service.

What sort of bloody punishment is that?

I say get Derren Brown in. That'll f' em up.

Something like that happened around here: Trilakes Animal Attack

Also in a local Council Estate, kids used to corner cats and then break all their legs.

I find it absolutely ludicrous that to adopt a child you have to go through rigorous tests and procedures - that can last years - to make sure you're fit to care for and raise this child, yet you can get up the chuff in 2 minutes and drop a screamer in 9 months.

I think the same tests and procedures should be applied to anyone looking to be a parent, regardless how they get the child in the first place!

I knew this one would make it to TPF quickly :)

I read it, and it did make me wonder.... Only one witness in a park apparently very popular and no evidence? I read it and it sniffed of BS.

this quote is also interesting:
Pc John Snellin, wildlife officer for Dorset Police, said: "Twenty-three years I have been in the force and I don't think, in all honesty, I have seen anything quite as barbaric and horrendous as this"

unless i read it wrong, he didnt see it so I'm not sure how that works.

but anyway, here's to another 'hanging's too good for em' thread.

I think he means the aftermath......;)

If the judiciary in this country ever get their heads out of their arses the answer to this:

"It worries me what these youngsters might go on to do."

Would simply be: "time".

Until then, we'll keep wrapping them up in cotton wool and wondering how they'll ever manage having had such a poor start in life (tongue well and truly in cheek).

Utterly disgusting. What on earth is happening to this country?

My God, that is too shocking for words. I hope they catch the little ******!

How brave of them to attack a defenceless baby animal. What kind of thug does that? Makes me sick.

Sad but true :(

Cat O' nine tails
and don't forget the salt :D

A person who is sick in the head and needs petrol poured over him and someone stood by with a match.....watch the cowards squirm then

That is appalling and talk about lack of humanity. Sadly I doubt they will be caught but such an act needs widely publicising in the local community because I would sincerely hope that the vast majority would be horrified about such an act and if nothing else if the community were "talkin about" in such negative terms it may, just may, give those responsible so insight into how bad an action that was............but someting makes me think they would simple love being talked about!

This report puts me in mind of the spate of attacks on horses a few years back ~ mindless, totally mindless.

:(
