Flash Trigger, stand and umbrella for me - I want to experiment with portrait shots, and amazong has some cheap stuff on the go :D

Whats yours?

Probably a Nikon 24-70 to replace the Sigma I currently use. Why? I keep hearing that the Nikkor is so much better than the Sigma and I want to!

I can't think of anything I want. I have a Jessops voucher and I can't think of anything to spend it on at the mo.

My lap top is falling apart and I want a large screen TV and something high to stand it on so my next big £ buys probably wont be photographic.

Apart from my 35mm, I have yet to experience the world of decent nikkors, and everyone says to 24-70 is dam fine!

Nikon 24-70 for me, will be the dream combo I've dreamt of for months when I finally get one to pair with my recently purchased D700.

D700 (or replacement) and ditto on the Nikon 24-70. The dilemma is what to get first.

My new toy arrived this morning, 100-400L because the quality of my Sigma 70-300 was terrible:gag:

If i didn't already have the Tamron 28-75, I'd have gone lens first. The Tamron actually works great with the D700.

Nothing much.........just a backup FX body and a 500 F/4.

Nikon 200mm F2. Cause I sold the last one and miss it :(

BUT - for the first time in years I'm actually SAVING UP for this one. I'll have it soon; and then I'll be after the new 85mm 1.4 or the 24mm 1.4.

It's a cheap game, photography.

It will have to be a flash and hopefully a radio trigger then a brolly and stand to go with it.
Why? because I don't have one and I would love to try OCF.

Tony

Am saving up for a 100-400, am hiring one next month and I've a feeling I'll not want to give it back!

Non-togging, I'm also saving up for a new mountain bike, but we'll be into next season by then, mainly because my hardtail's not going to withstand much more abuse and I've been lusting after a full susser for months.

17-40, cause i need ahem want a decent wide walkaround that will complete the weathersealing of my body, doesn't cost an arm and a leg either.

Then after that an 85mm f/1.8 for my long/arty shallow DOF stuff and a flash. Basically the 17-40 will be my work horse and the 85 for impact shots.

And then I will convince myself to stop splurging on camera gear (i basically haven't stopped since January because I keep buying stuff I end up not liking) and save up for stuff like a car/mortgage. Oh life...

I said you could rent it back if you need it for a shoot :rules:

I'm saving up for a D4x when it comes along

Ordered a clamp and reflective brolly this morning, thinking about a 85mm F1.8, possibly a Fresnel lens for my lights, an A3 printer more lights oh where to stop :D

D3 or D3s next I think the D1,D1x and D2Hs are getting like me old, but still good..:D

I really can't decide at the moment, I want to improve on my kit lens but unsure which direction to go in.

I'm even considering selling my macro stuff as I haven't used it this year and buy two lenses!

I know mate. I just want my own. Very childish I know

Having said that it could come in VERY useful on the 21st if you don't need it.......

(If I don't have my own by then ;))

sure thing, I won't be using it on the 21st

A tamron 17-50 later this week hopefully after that my wish list comprises off:

Large pop up background and train, constant light set (2 soft boxes), new glasses, 2 nice chairs I've seen.

An Atik 16ic mono camera, filter wheel and a set of LRGB filters. I really want a cooled CCD, with a small chip to help me get in on smaller/further away targets... with less noise from the chip.

Other than that, I've got a short lens list, it's only got 4 on it, but I'd need a sizeable loan to get them...

I'm thinking of selling my Sigma 17-70 & 18-200 to help fund a Canon L glass..but with a baby on the way I don't think it's going to happen!

my next toy will be a Canon 50D with the following additions, canon 70-200 L usm, 8gb card, lowpro bag, UV filters, a monopod and possibly some other bits and bobs.

Fingers crossed a new MacBook Pro, even harder fingers crossed iPhone 4 ( grandad is almost giving me his upgrade) and maybe some kind of iPhone dock? Not many money beans though.

Scrub that! Next toy will have to be a new desktop 'puter since my current one has died and is resisting all attempts to bring it back to life. Fun may start when I start looking for drivers for printers, scanners etc.

Hopefully an AFS 70-200 f2.8 vr2 because it is the dog left one (I already have it's right one)......

Mine's on it's way - Nikon 28-70 f/2.8 AFS - because I can't afford the 24-70!
Gives me my dream line up of 16-35 f/4 VR, 28-70 f/2.8, 70-200 f/2.8 (All Nikon) :D

2x 430 ex's, 70-200 f/4, 1.4x tc. If my compensation comes through my dream list will be shortened but the above are the need list
