Cant link to YouTube from work, but I have a couple of songs I love. Either Orson - No Tomorrow, or No Doubt - Sunday Morning :)

Reckon my favourite is Let the river run(New Jerusalem) by Carly Simon. 60,000 folks singing it in the Hong Kong Rugby stadium put the shivers up me!:lol:
 
The Jam - That's Entertainment, has to be one of the greatest all time songs, i just love the way Weller managed to capture the feel of early '80s Britain in a 6 1/2 minute track. I want this played at my funeral.
 
I can't imagine many sharing my taste in music :shrug:

I like almost anything that's not C&W or Jazz. I lived in Europe for many years including the time this was huge everywhere - except the UK of course.

Only just found this thread... I've been a Floyd fan for nearly 40 years ( first saw them live on the Animals tour in '77) and Comfortably Numb never fails to move me. I've just followed from that link through to four other different versions of the song... spectacular, made my night... thanks for posting it.

Copy the number at the end of the video url and then click on
youtube.gif
when you post a message and put that number in between the text that appears.

I've just been raking around you tube for some of my older favorites
such as focus
and Emerson Lake and Palmer
(Jeeze can Keith E play that moog or what) The "sound" from those days certainly had character :D
