THen there is the noise! It sounds brilliant. I know some of you think it is only because it is Ferrari, but its not. If it were a skoda i wouldnt care. It is just an amazing car.

So come on whats yours?

Nissan Skyline R34 GTR or the R32. Two total monsters on the track. Wouldn't mind the new GTR either, faster than a Zonda around the 'ring :O Now that's what I'm talking about.

Have not got a dream car, but if anything happened to my present car it would have to be the new Mazda 6 top or the range estate.

my crossfire.. love it but may have to get a company car soon so may have to let it go.....not sure how I feel about that yet.

Well if fuel was free then a 2009 Corvette ZR1.

After driving a friends 1995 Indy 500 Pace car several years back, was hooked.
Next years ZR1 has been designed to be a supercar beater.

6.2L V-8 620-bhp
Carbon fiber body panels
carbon-ceramic, drilled disc brakes
205 mph

Mine is the one i am having :)

Lovely little car

The latest aston martin-why. Well they are refined/sporty/sexy/james bondish and above all else-british.

Well having spent a youth dreaming of a Lambo I had one to myself, for nearly 2 hours on the public roads of the Breacon Beacons, it was Black, it was fast and I got it the most sideways I have ever got a car, yup even more sideways than my Type 3 Fastback.

I will have a Gallardo one day, all of my very own, it is just sensational, daily driver one minute, evil, evil, evil car the next, smile, oh yes, sorry Scooby, you did try but I know when I had shut off and you came past whhoooooping and cheering that you enjoyed the show.

I will find a way of owning a car like that :)

Technically they are American as AM is owned by Ford. But I know what you mean...

DB9 for me - the most beautiful man made thing in world.

Any car that wont break down and fits my guitar amp in.

I'm not playing this properly am i?

Tesla Roadster Signature. ;)

 Me too (as I'm never likely to get that Veyron!). An electric car that'll get to 60 in 4 seconds and do the equivalent of around 135 miles per gallon, I'll have some of that when the price drops!

Flashy

I'm happy with the one I've got. I can get 5 people and a Golden Retriever in it, blast from A to B on real roads faster than almost anything else on the road and arrive with the smug satisfaction that it was I that drove there, not some spotty computer programmer in Japan. :D

lol what is it?

It looks like a old type Golf to me, maybe wrong though.

Or is it the MG?

I fancy an Aston Martin Zonda like they had on The Apprentice. :D

:$ should have thought about that a bit more. THe Audi is phenomanal (sp?) Saw one at Oulton last august and by god wsa it fast!!

Dream car... hmm.. i try and keep my dreams realistic or there is no point having them.

So inline with that, the current dream car for me is a 58plate Honda Civic Tyre R GT in Milano Red, with optional Front and Rear Splitters and Intergrated Sat Nav, it will cost ~£18k and be in my garage in under 8months time. :)

 Its a Lancia Integrale.

They make Alfa Romeos look like reliable cars !!!

You're clearly an expert....at reading the propaganda in tabloid newspapers.
I thrashed my last one mercilessly for 186,000 miles and it never missed a beat. This one has a mere 100,000 km on the clock but at nearly 20 years old I think it's proven it's reliability. The only non-routine service components I've ever had to replace on it have all had Bosch written on them.

I worked in the motor trade for 16 years running independant garages. I can assure you that some of the cars with the best reputations are amongst the worst for reliability, they just have very efficient lawyers if you shout about their shortcomings.

Incidentally, a friend of mine traded his Alfa for a ....leading german brand about 18 months ago because the Alfa dealers were appalling. He's regretted it every day since. FIAT have set about revising their dealer provision this year and have shot up the owner polls.

lambo gallardoin orange, thats one good looking car

You sure about that ? :)

 There you go with the power of propaganda again. Let's explore the facts.

Audi was NOT the first manufacturer to produce a 4WD production car, they were just the first to be allowed to use one in the world rally championship.
Had 4wd been allowed previously then the 1966 Jensen Interceptor FF would be the one getting all the accolades. And the 1982 "Strange Rover" project (I think someone else mentioned Overfinch?) would have been eligible for points.

Audi produced the only 4wd drive rallycar to be beaten to the world title by a 2wd car (Coincidentally the Lancia 037 in 1983).

Audi won 2 seasons in all the years they entered, only ever beating 2wd opposition. The quattro never won a championship against 4wd opposition.

Legendary marketing skills

I'm no expert, and for the record, I really like the Integrale. But I have known a few peeps who've owned them. It was mainly build quality issues rather than mechanical ones which were the problems. Body panel gaps that meant you could gain entry to the car without having to open any doors, that sort of thing ....

Or are there just more of them about ?, if 1 in 10 mondeos break down, thats a higher number of cars break down than if 1 in 10 integrale's break down. If you get my drift.

Incidentally, a friend of mine traded his Alfa for a ....leading german brand about 18 months ago because the Alfa dealers were appalling. He's regretted it every day since. FIAT have set about revising their dealer provision this year and have shot up the owner polls.

Yes, Audi's Merc's etc, they're just as bad now, quite right !!
