I was looking for train tickets and noticed this image on thetrainline.com - what camera is this? Or has it been flipped?

Obviously looks like an old SLR and I would guess that yes it's been flipped as I've never seen a left handed SLR.

Flipped Zenit 12XP I have one in a box somewhere.

As a camera it makes a really good mallet.

Good shout, the hot shoe does look like the one on the 12XP rather than ttl. Not much in them though is there

Perhaps due to the effects of repetitive strain injury from unscrewing the lens too?

Joking aside, there's been many a good photo taken with a Zenit camera, and I imagine more than a few pro photographer careers started with one too.
