What is this?

Obviously looks like an old SLR and I would guess that yes it's been flipped as I've never seen a left handed SLR.

Fingers look at a really odd angle too.

I'm going for a Zenit TTL but back to front.

Good shout :)

Graphic designers often flip images so the subject is looking 'into' the page.

OK clever clogs where is she? :p
Sound-of-Music-esque hills; on a railway platform; with a back-to-front-Zenit....
"Well, I was trying to buy a ticket to Derby.... but it seems I have gone through a worm-hole in the time-space-continuem.... Must be Cardif.. they don't call it Network-Fail for nothing do they?"

Probably because they’re cheap but still give the same effect as anything more expensive!

That’s the strain of having to hold up half a tonne of zenith ;)
Perhaps due to the effects of repetitive strain injury from unscrewing the lens too? ;)

Joking aside, there's been many a good photo taken with a Zenit camera, and I imagine more than a few pro photographer careers started with one too.

My first SLR was a Zenith E with 58mm Helios way back in 1971.....
