This is the back end ( rear element Bri)h'mm my first thinking is condensation marks...but on the outer edges shouldn't affect your shots and as AAMOI probably wouldn't affect your shots if it was in the centre. And another AAMOI is:- marks on the other (back) end are more serious.
This is the back end ( rear element Bri)
It's a lens that has come up for sale which interests me but I have my concerns!!
Oh I'm still interested in the lens, just a shame I can't physically view it before hand and there isn't any protection as such as it's a private sale ( not eBay )Ah well things like this depends are the price you are paying..it's worth sending the seller an email about your concerns and make an offer that you are happy with.
At the bootie there is an old saying "don't pay more than you are prepared to lose" h'mm I suppose it could apply to ebay although you get the protection which helps.
something progresive such as seperation
Are you just guessing what marks.....any marks, could be, kinda hypothetical like
because from that picture I have absolutely no idea what marks we are meant to be looking at
Is this a large format lens? Could be the paint used to blacken the edges of each element falling off, Schneider lenses are known for this too.
Top right of the lens element sort of 1 o'clock to 2 o'clokish
