I've just had a look without my lens and cannot see any glaring problems (hair etc).

The thread follows the contour of the eye and also disappears behind part of the top of the head before re-emerging again.
It's a fibre on the fly's head.

Yes it could also be a thread on the fly, but surely we have to give the OP some credit for common sense , as that would have been clearly visible through the few finder
The light/hair thing? Is is dirt or hair on my sensor or lens or is it light of some description. I noticed it the other night when doing a light trail.

a point light source moving around (that's the usual cause)
