What is the standard 40D focusing screen called?

Is it the Canon EF-A? And where's the best place to buy one from?

Managed to scratch mine trying to get a bug off of it, over the weekend. I see there are numerous alternatives, but none claim to be the actual original...

well whenever i read about focusing screens blackkatz always comes up into conversation but they are expensive


You should be able to get the proper canon ones from warehouse express for about £22-5 I think

Pete ring Canon, I did a similar thing on my D300, rang Nikon less than £1, cost more for postage.
